      Dear Ted, Thanks for your kind comment and your question. I will put together a short article on the Jaguar XK120 and publish it at The Classic Motorist in the next few days. In meantime, if you are looking to move sooner rather than later, a Sydney dealer has a nice looking, but not concourse, 1950 Jaguar XK120 for sale. You’d probably get it for $100k.       Ted, I have just published a short piece on the XK120 at http://classicmotorist.com.au/?p=278. My view is that XK120s are one of the great cars of all time. I am reminded of a spectacular roadster passing me on the winding road into Castlemaine last winter. The driver was sporting a big moustache and goggles to help fend off the afternoon cool. These are useable, spectacular classics. For purists, the X120 is the car to have, rather than the tubbier XK140 and XK150. While I quite see their point, the later cars are also very desirable. Personally, I would take an XK120 over and E-type any day. To my eye, the XK120 is prettier. It is certainly rarer and prices are not that far apart.
